Tagore's second film as director, writer and co-producer, The Messenger (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1347355/) has been accepted into film festivals across the globe. The film looks at how we as human beings are the messengers that the world is waiting for. We are messengers to ourselves and to the rest of this creation. The Film got nominated in the category of 'Best Film Under 35mins' at the British Film Festival in Los Angeles.

ALAG - Premiered at the prestigious IIFA 2006, and released in June 2006.

Tagore's first Bollywood film ALAG is about a person with special powers – the biggest of all being that he is connected deeply with his inner and pure soul. This enables him to truly be one with the world around him, to see and hear thru his soul. A characteristics that many of us seem to discard as we grow. The film is produced by Subi Samuel, directed by Ashu Trikha, music by Aadesh Srivastav and has been written by Tagore Almeida. It stars Akshay Kapoor and Dia Mirza.

 

IDHI MAA ASHOK GHADI LOVE STORY (Released 2003)
As mentioned earlier, Tagore has an immense passion for cinema. He is one commercial film to his credit as the story writer. The film was released in February 2003 in Hyderabad, India. The film was produced by Nimbus Communications, Mumbai and was directed by one of South India’s leading directors – Suresh Krishna.

A WORLD AT THE PARK (completed)
Besides the commercial cinema, Tagore has also written and directed a short film on an amateur level. A different medium yet speaking the same language of peace, love and tolerance.
Synopsis
A short film about a woman trying to come to terms with the fact that her youngest son wants to marry outside the community. An unforeseen chat with her husband during their evening walk at the park, provides Pooja with an opportunity to see beyond man made barriers and teaches her to differentiate between motherly love and her own social concerns.

Synopsis
Tagore’s story and script for his second commercial film, which is a super natural love story that involves a guy – Rahul, whose life is splashed with the beautiful colours of love, thru his encounters with Maya and Pooja, at two different stages of his existence – one as a living human and the other after death. Torn between his immaculate beliefs and a dose of reality, his journey takes him to emotions in different worlds.
